Since the release of her debut album in 2006, when she was only 16 years old, country fans have watched Taylor Swift grow up, from talented teenager to global superstar.

Today, the Red recording artist turns 23–which happens to fall on Dec. 13, her lucky number. So let’s celebrate her birthday by looking back at some of her career highlights.
