Love and Theft‘s Eric Gunderson and his wife Emily are expecting their first child together in May People Magazine reports. The two married in 2010 and this will be the first baby for both of them.
“I’ve wanted to be a father forever, and now I feel like we’re in a place in our career where it won’t be the most nerve-wracking thing ever. I feel like I can support a family now. It will be good. We’re really excited,” Eric says.
“I’m beyond excited to share another journey through life with my best friend and husband,” she says. “I pray not only for a healthy baby, but for a baby that is as talented in music as his sweet and handsome father!”
Emily seems to be focused on a talented baby, but Eric? He’s not thinking talent yet… he’s just gunnin’ for a baby boy!! He wants a son first!!
“Obviously, I’m just hoping for a healthy baby,” he explains. “But I was the oldest in my family and I was a boy … I think it was cool for my sister to always have an older brother. I think I’d like to have a boy first and then a little girl, but I’ll take whatever I get!”
