Jake Owen is known for his bare feet, his blue jeans, and, most of all, his rugged good looks and his hair!

Well, did he or didn’t he?

That is the question this afternoon and the subject is none other than Jake Owen‘s flowing locks.

The country heartthrob took to his Twitter account this morning, posting a photo from what looks to be a hairdresser’s chair and posed this question: “Should I cut my hair off… Like now?”

Shortly following that tweet, another appeared with what looks like a new cleaned up Jake stating “Done and done.”

In what might have caused a moment of panic for some fans of Jake, have no fear. It was all a prank. Just eight short minutes Jake again tweeted, this time calming everyone’s nerves and showing off his ‘do which remains in tact.

Ha…… Got y’all. I didnt cut it. Then there’d be nothing to pull. Well… Maybe my ears..
