We just talked to Rob Dyrdek, star of MTV’s Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory, and founder of Street League Skateboarding, about the huge competition this weekend in Glendale at Jobing.com Arena. In addition to being a cult hero, producer, and crazy individual, Rob is one of the nicest guys we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. As part of his SLS visit to the Valley, as he does in most towns he visits, Rob and his foundation are donating another skate park to the Valley. Check out last year’s amazing donation!
We knew that Dyrdek was a BIG fan of country music, but he told us his enthusiasm for the genre is off a little due to a failed relationship. At least he indicated that it ended like a classic country song with lots of tears and heartache. Rob’s even thinking about writing a country song about SLS someday.
