Upcoming artist, Jessie James, came to the Valley for an exclusive performance and interview with Tim & Willy. James, also known as, Jessica James originally auditioned with L.A. Reid and was signed with Mercury Records. While touring with the Jonas Brothers she followed her intuition and dreams of becoming a country star and left the label. Soon after she was discovered by Toby Keith and signed on with his label: Show Dog Universal Music.

So while visiting KMLE, Jessie took the time to answer a few questions and talk about her latest excitement… that has much to do with the Denver Broncos. Jessie James has been dating Broncos’ wide receiver, Eric Decker, #87… however that recently changed. During the ACM Awards, Decker got down on one knee and proposed to the country singer. Now we have much to celebrate between Jessie’s engagement and KMLE Country Thunder artist, Jake Owen‘s engagement!

Jessie went on to tell us she was excited about being engaged and even took the time to show off her ring to Tim & Willy. As for her fiance’s upcoming season? She was the one to break the news to Decker about the Denver Broncos new quarterback, Peyton Manning. “I’m excited Manning is going to be a Bronco” says Jessie. Then tells Tim & Willy that she will be here during pre-season with Decker when the Broncos take on the Arizona Cardinals, “I promise to stop in and I’ll drag Eric along.”

After all the exciting news… Jessie James took the KMLE Live stage, which is powered by Sanderson Ford. James gave an amazing performance with her newest single, “When You Say My Name.” The country singer/songwriter also performed “Military Man” which is a song she holds near and dear to her heart. The song was written about and dedicated to her step-father; who served in the military.
